How a Virtual Tour helped Lendal Tower.

The Issue

Lendal Tower is a Grade I listed building developed into luxury self catering accommodation in the centre of York. They wanted to be able to increase guest numbers from all over the world by showcasing the building and facilities.

What We Did

Due to Lendal Tower being such a unique building we wanted to show it off in all its glory so that potential visitors from all over the world could see it. We created an interactive virtual tour of the whole property so that anyone could see 360° of every room from the comfort of their own room. The tower has a history dating back to approximately the 13th Century so as part of this virtual tour we also added a time line of its history. We also created a short video to explain how to use the virtual tour. Finally, as part of the package we also included a selection of photos that could be used on the website and marketing material.

The website has seen an increase in visitors as well as an increase in the time spent on the site, there has also been an increase in bookings. After delivery of the production, Mike, Lendal Tower owner said that 'The Lanor team were professional, courteous, creative and very easy to work with. We were delighted with the end product and will definitely use them again in the future.'
